Kat manages the City of Boston's work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reach the Mayor's goal of making Boston carbon neutral by 2050.
Prior to joining the Environment Department in March 2018, Kat worked in nonprofits, the United Nations, and private industry on sustainable urban development, biodiversity conservation, and science communication. She has a Master's in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po, a Master's in Environmental Sciences from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, and an Environmental Studies degree from Yale University.
