Mr. Perras has over 17 years of experience working for higher education and cultural institutions as well as commercial and residential clients at a range of scales. He began his career in Chicago working on museum installations and residential conversions; both paths having a distinctively inward focus. Designing within an existing shell led to an interest in detailing to expose and highlight the material qualities of the building. After completing grad school, Mr. Perras began working in Boston on college campuses, affording him the opportunity to draw on the built context and design for high occupancy and longevity. This career trajectory has led to holistic design approach where scales of architecture are considered concurrently, establishing connections from the site to the building to the individual occupant. Marc received a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Virginia.
