Paul Reale

Paul Reale is Director of Building Operations Research and Training at the CUNY Building Performance Lab. Programming there includes data-driven coaching techniques for building operators that optimize operations during class, workforce development programs with partnerships in multiple colleges, and the Sustainability Help Center that provides guidance to thousands of building professionals across New York City.

With a background as a technical manager and systems engineer at Bell Laboratories, Mr. Reale made a career shift in 1994 to work in continuing education and workforce management, and another shift toward sustainability, carbon reduction, and energy efficiency in 2007. He holds a Master of Engineering degree, is a LEED AP, and a CEM.
