With over 7-years’ experience in the building energy industry, Runci is an expert in designing and energy modeling central plant upgrades at large facilities and has worked with major NYC agencies including NYCHA, NYCSCA, NYCDDC, DASNY, and NYNJ Port Authority. She deftly navigates code requirements (Building, Plumbing, Fire, Mechanical, Energy Conservation) along with ASHRAE and SMACNA standards to prepare drawings and other materials for obtaining appropriate work permits, ensuring all steps of project design and implementation are seamless. Runci’s mechanical design experience gives her a special perspective to her energy modeling work, since who’s better to model a building system than the person who knows how to design them?
