Scott R. Greenbaum PE, CEM, CPHC, CBCP, GBE is the Principal Engineer of Greene Energy Consultants, LLC and is licensed in CT, MA, MD, NJ, and NY. Greenbaum has over 40 years of experience as an HVAC engineer, energy auditor, decarbonization & electrification studies and implementation, commissioning of new and existing buildings, and renewable energy consultant. He has developed energy efficiency projects for commercial and municipal office buildings, hospitals, multifamily buildings, colleges/universities, correctional facilities, K-12 schools, water and wastewater treatment plants, industrial buildings, public safety buildings, libraries, etc. He has developed renewable energy projects including PV, solar DHW, and small hydro. Development of projects includes project concept, energy and carbon savings calculation, project economic analysis, design, project bidding, general contracting, construction management, and commissioning. He has developed central heating and chilled water plants for large institutions. He is currently implementing projects in commercial office buildings, K-12 schools, municipal buildings, pharma, universities, small manufactures, and multifamily buildings. He is commissioning a Commonwealth of Massachusetts net zero all electric VRF office building.
