Silvana Bastante

Silvana serves as the Program Officer for LISC Boston's Green Homes and Economic Opportunity initiatives.

In this role, Silvana supports the strategic direction for energy efficient Affordable Housing, Financial Opportunity Centers and Bridges to Career Opportunities programs, and LISC Boston’s participation in the Boston Builds Credit Program. Silvana's interest in community development and resilience started in her role as Assistant Program Director at the Guatemalan Maya Center in South Florida, helping immigrant families access local resources for education and financial support.

Prior to joining LISC in 2021, Silvana received a Master of Public Administration from the University of Central Florida (UCF), served as the Vice President for Nonprofit Outreach at the American Society for Public Administration Chapter in Orlando, Florida, worked as a Research Assistant at the UCF Downtown Center for Public and Nonprofit Management.
