Tammy is a full-time master’s student in Sustainable Building Systems at Northeastern University. She has credentials in LEED GA, WELL AP, and EIT (Passed PE Mechanical Exam). She is interested in high-performance buildings, especially commercial projects. In Boston, she completed her co-op as an Energy Engineer Intern with the Sustainability Department at BR+A.
At NU, she’s the Co-President of NU Sustainable Building Organization (NUSBO). NUSBO invites industry guest speakers to their weekly seminars and coordinates for students to go to local professional conferences. She was also a mentee who participated in NESEA's Pilot Program- Energy Leaders Fellowship in 2021-2022.
Before her graduate program, Tammy worked ~ 3 years as a Mechanical Engineer consulting HVAC for biopharmaceutical and life-science projects in San Diego, California. Her undergraduate background was in mechanical engineering.
