Wendy Lee O’Malley, Vice President at MassDevelopment, has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry. Wendy joined MassDevelopment in January 2017 to oversee the creation of the new commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing program. She directs all parts of PACE including the program guidelines, municipal opt-in, lender engagement, project development, application review, transaction closing and servicing. Prior to joining the Agency, she operated her own energy consulting business and acted as VP and principal advisor for a consortium of 500+ Massachusetts nonprofit and municipality members helping them to save millions annually in energy costs. She started her career developing energy savings performance contracts for municipal, healthcare and federal government facilities and over the last two decades has developed an extensive knowledge of natural gas, electricity, energy efficiency and renewable/clean energy markets. A proud lifelong Massachusetts resident, Wendy currently resides in Milton with her family.
