Will Kalbacker

Will leads Steven Winter Associates’ decarbonization study and implementation services. His work aims to help buildings achieve long term carbon reductions to comply with NYC’s Local Law 97, increase energy efficiency and occupant comfort, and improve operations and maintenance procedures. Will has helped develop decarbonization roadmaps for buildings through a combination of electrification and optimization measures, with a specialty in steam heating systems. Will has led studies for millions of square feet of multifamily and commercial properties. He is routinely in the field conducting energy audits and speaking with building owners, operators, tenants, and residents.
