More Good through Less Bad
Join us for an honest reckoning of habits in building enclosures and structural systems with deplorable carbon consequences. Follow the logic toward design and construction solutions, as we demonstrate aggregated impacts of these practices when they become widespread like nailguns and CAD. Presenters will share simple guidelines and adoptable changes including: the 7 pitfalls of spray foam, a simple rule for vapor barrier location, elimination of concrete that doesn’t contribute to function, reframing costs to communicate durable value, and showing how project-level changes can change the industry. With informed, deliberate, and cost beneficial moves, we can change this world!
