RA
Eva leads RMI's REALIZE-Massachusetts team, which focuses on the 1000 Apartment Challenge — a deep energy retrofit accelerator driven to catalyze the zero-carbon building revolution for existing buildings in scalable, low-cost, and equitable means. Actively engaging with designers, building owners, manufacturers, local agencies, and contractors, she facilitates and supports building retrofit projects in Massachusetts to expedite decarbonization of cold climate building typologies. Eva is also extensively involved with the broader REALIZE team, the Advanced Building Construction (ABC) Collaborative, and other research and development strategies to support building decarbonization efforts.
A dedicated and innovative problem-solver driven by sustainability, Eva has over 20 years of experience in many roles within the design and management of pioneering and sustainable built projects. Throughout her multifaceted career, she always focused on the environment and personal impact of architecture. A process-driven and strategic project manager, she demonstrated expertise in building GHG accounting and data analysis, construction methodologies, systems thinking, building mechanical systems, renewable energy, and life-cycle cost and benefit analyses.
