Darya Arefi

Darya Arefi is the Energy and Sustainability Manager for Selfhelp Realty Group, managing their existing buildings. She previously worked as a Sustainability Specialist at PSG Energy Group, where she supported clean energy project development and solar system design. She was a Climate Control Systems Core Components Engineer for Ford Motor Company, contributing to electrified vehicles' climate and comfort, battery cooling, high voltage charging, second-life battery reuse, and sustainable materials. She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan with concentrations in Energy and Sustainable Engineering and an MFA in Creative Writing from West Virginia University.
