Ana Moura-Cook is a Project Manager for Climate Resilience at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. She works across the Authority to integrate climate resilience consistently and comprehensively into programs and projects. She also steers the interagency effort to implement New York State’s first Decarbonization & Climate Resilience Design Guide.
Prior to joining NYSERDA, Ana worked at global engineering firm Arup as a Resilience Analyst, supporting clients across the breadth of the risk management cycle. She executed probabilistic multi-hazard risk assessments for large asset managers, informed resilience plans for critical infrastructure systems, and developed and deployed resilience-based design guidelines for a wide variety of building and infrastructure projects.
Ana holds a M.S. in Structural Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer.
