From Commitment to Action: Sustainable & Resilient Design for NYS Agencies
New York State is leading by example to implement sustainability and resilience across its multi-billion-dollar capital portfolio. In 2025, NYS developed the new “Decarbonization & Climate Resiliency Design Guide.” The Guide supports implementation of Executive Order 22 and the CLCPA Scoping Plan, and is structured around three areas: energy efficiency, limiting emissions, and climate resilience. This panel will discuss development, share agencies’ implementation experience, and look ahead to next steps.
