Dan Arons

Dan Arons is an accomplished architect, planner, and building technologist with more than 25 years of experience on award-winning academic, commercial, and civic projects concentrated in New England. As a leading advocate for high performance, sustainable buildings and campuses, Dan's portfolio includes many first-of-a-kind projects including Zero Net Energy, Energy Plus, and LEED-certified projects at the Platinum and Gold levels. A recognized sustainable design leader, Dan has taught graduate level sustainable building design at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was an original member of the U.S. Green Building Council's Education Committee, a long-time co-chair of the Boston Society of Architect's Committee on the Environment, and founder of the BSA's Committee for the Advancement of Sustainability. Dan frequently speaks about sustainable architecture at local and national conferences.
