George Mokray

George Mokray has been involved in local agriculture since the 1970s, as a community garden organizer and community gardener as well as a local and regional food coop board member and has helped organize local and regional farmers' markets and other food systems. Currently, he publishes Energy (and Other) Events (http://hubevents.blogspot.com) around Cambridge, MA which focuses on free and open lectures, performances, and meetings in the community and at local colleges and universities, including Harvard and MIT. He also writes online at http://solarray.blogspot.com and http://gmoke.dailykos.com and maintains a youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/gmoke. He works under the assumption that Solar IS Civil Defense and that gardening, farming, and agriculture are part of that concept.
