Katie Schwamb is the Director of Educational Resources for the Building Energy Exchange (BE- Ex), an independent nonprofit that accelerates the transition to healthy, comfortable, and energy efficient buildings by serving as a trusted expert and advisor to the building industry.
As the Director of Educational Resources, Katie leads BE-Ex’s research and resource development efforts by collaborating directly with industry partners, subject matter experts, and BE-Ex team members. Katie has spearheaded the development of a variety of educational resources including low-carbon multifamily retrofit packages, trainings on high-performance, climate resilient design, and tools to drive energy efficiency in commercial tenant spaces.
