The Studio for High-Performance Design + Construction (Studio HPDC) provides training and education in High-Performance, Net Zero, and Passive House design and construction. Housed in a state-of-the-art Passive House facility, Studio HPDC is a classroom and educational center for sustainable design & construction. Scott Baum is the founder and principal of Sublime Windows. He has an engineering and architecture background and 20+ years of experience in the building trades. Over the last 10+ years, Scott has specialized in designing double-stud-wall, zero-net energy homes and was certified as a Passive House consultant in 2012. He is passionate about building science and uses the Passive House PHPP software, WUFI Passive, LBNL Therm, and LBNL Window7 software to study energy-efficient buildings. We have a solid understanding of building science, energy modeling, architectural detailing, and construction techniques related to energy-efficient buildings.
