Structure was founded in 2008, by Peter Jackson Hussey, and has since evolved over time to a small design studio with a team that offers, in house custom cabinetry, millwork and furniture as well as design services and general contracting. Studio G Architects is a women-owned architecture and planning firm based in Boston, nationally recognized for our leadership in sustainable and regenerative design. With in-house Certified Passive House Consultants, we bring deep expertise in delivering energy-efficient, climate-resilient buildings that meet and exceed performance goals. The Studio for High-Performance Design + Construction (Studio HPDC) provides training and education in High-Performance, Net Zero, and Passive House design and construction. Housed in a state-of-the-art Passive House facility, Studio HPDC is a classroom and educational center for sustainable design & construction. We develop and host training courses for students, tradespeople, and architects at all experience levels, ranging from introductory sessions and overviews to hands-on workshops and certification programs. In addition to training courses, we host regular networking and discussion group events and provide resources for all those interested in sustainable construction.

Scott Baum is the founder and principal of Sublime Windows. He has an engineering and architecture background and 20+ years of experience in the building trades. Over the last 10+ years, Scott has specialized in designing double-stud-wall, zero-net energy homes and was certified as a Passive House consultant in 2012. He is passionate about building science and uses the Passive House PHPP software, WUFI Passive, LBNL Therm, and LBNL Window7 software to study energy-efficient buildings. We have a solid understanding of building science, energy modeling, architectural detailing, and construction techniques related to energy-efficient buildings.
