Selfhelp Realty Group/ The Melamid Institute for Affordable Housing is the real estate development and property management entity of Selfhelp Community Services. Founded in 1939 to assist Holocaust survivors arriving in NYC, we own over 1,500 residential units, run Senior Centers, and provide social services assistance to 20,000 NYers. Our pipeline includes 430 units currently in construction, an additional 135 units scheduled to start this Fall, and several hundred units in the design and planning phase.

Shelterwood Construction is an award-winning residential construction company based in Central Vermont. We specialize in building high-performance and high-design homes. We partner with the best architects to build some of the most efficient and healthy homes in the country. Shelterwood Construction assembles the best project team for each home we build. We are a collection of native Vermonters, immigrants (to Vermont and the USA!), parents, musicians, backcountry skiers and snowboarders, artists, surfers, mountain bikers, community volunteers, and craftspeople. SMMA (Symmes Maini and McKee Associates) is an architectural, engineering, and interior design firm based in Massachusetts. Since 1955, SMMA has balanced architecture, engineering, interiors, and site design to afford clients the agility of a single source of creative and technical expertise. Snowdog Construction is a construction and consulting company. I offer remodeling and renovation, energy-saving design and construction, high-performance energy retrofits, new construction, energy audits, and consulting. I also provide energy efficiency education for building professionals. Snowdog Construction's credentials include being trained and certified by National Fiber as a Cel-Pak Professional cellulose installer, Building Performance Institute Certified Building Analyst and Shell Specialist, Efficiency Vermont Partner, Certified Home Performance with Energy Star contractor and Efficiency Excellence Network, Certified Lead Safe Renovator.

South Mountain Company (SMCo) is an integrated architecture and engineering, building, interior, and solar company located in West Tisbury, MA (on the island of Martha’s Vineyard). Early in the company's history, Sparhawk Group began with pay-for-performance energy efficiency projects delivering 3.5 megawatts of electrical power conservation at industrial, institutional, commercial, and government buildings. These projects were commissioned to ensure savings, and thus, payments for performance were realized. This grounding in energy performance and commissioning drives our company vision to this day.
