Designing the Future of Learning: Insights from Passive Schools

The Stretch Energy Code update focuses on passive building principles as an underpinning to all compliance paths, resulting in non-residential commercial use types assessing and pursuing Phius certification. One of these new use types is public K-12 schools. This session will use three case studies, Squantum School, Charleswood Elementary, and Revere High School, to demonstrate challenges and solutions to implement passive certified schools as the next gen of healthy, low operating cost schools.
