required skills and experience

• excellent carpentry skills; 5 years’ experience
• material takeoffs & ordering materials
• planning and executing material/framing layouts
• effective communication skills with clients, crew, subcontractors and management
• understanding building science; ability to execute advanced framing and weatherization techniques
• maintaining a safe, clean, efficient job site
• effective problem solving & ability to plan ahead
• taking initiative when needed; showing good judgement
• OSHA 10 certification

We will also consider candidates with most of the above skills and the interest and potential to gain the additional skills.
