Long-time NESEA and Bottom Lines Member looking for a lead carpenter.

We need someone who can run a job day-to-day with plenty of support and prep work from the office. Supervise 1-2 carpenters, work with a terrific, well-established team of subs and suppliers, and communicate day-to-day with clients. 

Our work runs from new homes to additions and whole-house renovations to bathroom remodels and exterior rot repairs. We sub out most of our drywall, flooring, roofing, painting, and of course licensed trades, so carpentry skills are critical. 

We are active members of local and regional organizations that provide invaluable training and networking opportunities, and we focus on making the buildings more sustainable, comfortable and beautiful. Internally, we hope to create an inclusive, supportive environment that shares knowledge and experience and insures the long-term health and safety of our crew. A healthy irreverence is appreciated as well. 

We are busy year-round with a substantial backlog.

Work is overwhelmingly in Cape Eliz, S. Portland, Portland and Falmouth.

$25/hr to start. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays and sick/weather days. Health insurance is currently unavailable but may become so if needed.
