Small architectural & planning firm in the Hudson Valley (NY) seeks creative, energetic and enthusiastic applicants for a Project Architect position.

Applicant should be a graduate of an accredited architectural degree program, and have minimum 5 years experience in an architectural practice.

Required proficiency in: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel, Word, with interest in candidates with experience in SketchUp and the Adobe graphics suite. Must be organized, professional, knowledgeable about building construction and experienced in the production of construction documents. We are looking for experience in building details and full documentation work, coordination of engineering and other consultants, and the ability to work independently on design and drawing tasks as well as coordinate work with consultants, reps, vendors and clients.

Our work is focused on excellence in design, and on data-driven, energy efficient, environmentally responsible architectural and planning solutions.  Our Principal is a Certified Passive House Consultant, we are active in the PH community, and we have LEED, Energy Star, Zero Energy and PH projects in our portfolio and in development.  We cultivate expertise in this sector within our team and are seeking applicants with interest and experience that will contribute to our team's growth in this area.
