The Connecticut Green Bank (CGB), a quasi-public authority, is the nation's first state "Green Bank," leveraging public and private funds to drive investment and scale up clean energy deployment in Connecticut. This position will involve working in a collaborative environment within the Infrastructure Programs team to (1) assist with the management of existing residential project finance portfolios, including the residential solar lease and loan funds, (2) contribute to administration of CBG's Residential Solar Investment Program (RSIP) that provides up front rebates and performance-based incentives for residential solar PV projects, and (3) other tasks as required.
Specific responsibilities may include:

Coordinating day-to-day operations of residential solar financing programs

Interacting with solar contractors, homeowners, lenders and other stakeholders to answer questions and resolve issues by phone, email, or in person

Serving as the liaison for CGB's external service providers across various residential financing programs

Data entry, reconciling, and correcting information

Collecting, reviewing, and uploading project documentation received from various parties

Analyzing data and preparing reports for various parties

Reviewing RSIP incentive applications

Other RSIP tasks as needed

Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS & BENEFITS

Excellent customer service skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders (e.g., homeowners, contractors, lenders, service providers, etc.) by email and phone

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of solar financing (leases, loans, etc.)

Knowledge of solar PV system components/operations

Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude

Aptitude for analytical and data-oriented tasks

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and file sharing services, Salesforce, etc.

Ability to learn and utilize online data and document management platforms for daily tasks
Candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in a program related to clean energy, environmental science, sustainability, communications or other related area, plus at least one year of work experience in the solar industry. Three years' experience in the solar industry or at least four years' experience in general customer service can be substituted for the degree requirement.
LOCATION AND COMPENSATION
Salary commensurate with experience. This position will be filled at the associate level in the Green Bank's Career progression. This position is durational but does qualify for benefits. The Connecticut Green Bank makes no assurance that such durational position will lead to a permanent employment opportunity. This position will be located at CGB's Rocky Hill office.
