Local Events

NESEA members are doing incredible work all over the Northeast. Local events, made up of Pro Tours, workshops, and other events inspired by members and hosted by NESEA, are an opportunity to showcase that work. These events occur throughout the year from Pennsylvania to Maine and are regional complements to the BuildingEnergy conferences in Boston and New York in March and October. We hope to see you at a local event soon!

What is a Pro Tour?

BuildingEnergy Pro Tours are half-day tours of high performance homes all over the Northeast led by members of the project teams behind them, concluding with a reception and workshop or Q&A session. Pro Tours are an opportunity for sustainable building professionals to get to see projects in progress with their own eyes, share their knowledge and learn from their colleagues.

NESEA hosts at least eight Pro Tours a year, in every month of the year except October and March (BuildingEnergy Conference months) and July and January (too hot and cold). Pro Tours are held on the first  or third Friday of the month, from 1 - 5:30 PM. The cost to attend a Pro Tour is $25 for NESEA members, and $35 for non-members, and proceeds support NESEA programming.
