As the next generation of building design guidelines are being progressively questioned/challenged by the public, thought leaders in the public and private sectors are stepping up their games when it comes to the implementations of energy efficient building upgrades/retrofits/designs that make significant health and wellness impacts on the occupants. The elevated health impacts from the implementation of quality programs and projects have the potential for major economic and socio-economic impacts as a result of enhanced productivity. This session will discuss some of the actions that have been taken by public and private organizations, featuring well lighting demonstrations and testimonials that conclude the preliminary results of these impacts in commercial spaces, schools, and on the general public.
