How Smart are Buildings? Software Solutions for Improving the Bottom Line

Energy-savings opportunities exist in buildings everywhere. Whether a building is new or old, large or small, energy systems will inevitably deteriorate without high-quality maintenance (or without fixing systems improperly configured in the first place). Identification of these problems and their ideal solutions is an expensive and time-consuming process, and expertise is limited. This session will explore a variety of software strategies that are helping building operators tackle this problem. We will explore real-world case studies and achieved results. While unique approaches are required for unique building types, widespread adoption of the appropriate solutions could result in widespread energy and functionality improvements across a large number of buildings.
