Please join me in supporting the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) by making an online donation to the Kate Goldstein Fund for Emerging Professionals on Valley Gives Day! Since 2014, the Kate Goldstein Fund has increased access to our programs and created opportunities for people early in their careers. The fund has provided scholarships for more than 30 individuals to participate in NESEA conferences, courses, and events.

Donations made to NESEA on Valley Gives Day support the organization’s expansion of opportunities for emerging professionals and students to engage with NESEA’s content and community.

This fund is an important component of NESEA’s broader Emerging Professionals program. Over the past year, the program has:

• Provided scholarships for NESEA conference registrations, NESEA memberships, and BuildingEnergy Pro Tours to almost 50 students and emerging professionals.
• Welcomed new people to the NESEA community with two Emerging Professionals Career Forums.  Our Boston career forum attracted 121 attendees and our New York City career forum attracted 57 attendees.
• Introduced a new membership level for emerging professionals (64 have joined so far!).
• Launched a Resume Bank on nesea.org. This new tool connects employers and job-seekers in the NESEA membership.
