DOE’s Better Buildings Initiative is supporting industry leaders to create action plans based on a common template that will result in substantially lower carbon emissions. This session will discuss the steps to create the action plans, cite examples of current action plans, and show viable pathways to reduce carbon in ways that make business sense to the building owners. Tools will be provided to help design teams and owners chart a pathway for buildings to substantially reduce energy consumption as buildings move towards carbon neutrality.
