Hudson Valley Preservation is a design/build and historic preservation consulting and construction company with a passion for buildings and the people who care for them. HVP is looking to add an experienced Carpenter to our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and looking to expand their leadership in the high-performance residential construction industry. A candidate should have framing experience, the ability to be self-directed, and a willingness to learn while applying building science principles to challenging projects.

Additionally, candidates must have excellent communication and quality control skills, and the ability to handle the tools of the trade safely and efficiently. Experience in a Lead Carpenter position is a plus, but not required; we are willing to train a candidate with the right mix of skills and ambition to grow into a leadership role. This position is fulltime, and the work is generally within 30 miles of Kent, CT.
