Key Responsibilities
For Our Clients
- Perform energy and decarbonization audits and assessments.
- Provide conceptual designs and drawings.
- Develop innovative approaches to design challenges.
- Provide and/or oversee subcontractors to perform load analyses, energy modeling, trending and other evaluation studies.
- Provide owner’s agent services from initial concept through bidding, installation and commissioning.
- Facilitate cross-functional relationships with clients, outside vendors and incentive program providers.
- Create reports that clearly and concisely convey findings and recommendations.
For RPM
- Collaborate with RPM team to combine traditional thinking with creative approaches to decarbonize existing buildings.
- Stay current on new technologies and procedures.
- Devise and manage projects and budgets including subcontracted services.
- Build relationships with vendors, installers, utility partners and others.
- Support team learning opportunities.
Expertise in 50% or more of the following:
- Building automation and control systems
- Electrification requirements and systems
- HVAC systems, all fuel types
- Power quality and reliability improvements
- Utility efficiency programs
- CHP, geothermal, lighting and other systems
- MA building codes
Qualifications
- BS in engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- PE or CEM preferred but not required
- Ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel locally as needed
