We are delighted to host this event in New York City for the first time and to bring our community together to celebrate the award recipients, meet new people, and reconnect with old friends.

Using heat pumps to electrify heating and cooling is a common approach to decarbonizing buildings. To achieve the goals of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, New York State must quickly move from a building-by-building approach to a community-by-community approach. The City of New York is known for its dynamic, exciting skylines, but those buildings are a major source of emissions. With Local Law 97, the city is introducing emission limits to organizations responsible for their building emissions. As a solution provider, you have a valuable role in helping buildings comply. Each year, the NESEA Membership elects individuals to serve on our Board of Directors. The deadline to apply is July 15th. Current members of the board’s Nominating Committee will review and vet applications to develop a slate of candidates for the ballot.

Members from across the Bottom Lines network will convene virtually for a day of community building and deep-dives into triple bottom lines topics affecting their businesses. Breakout discussions will be led by group facilitators. This event is free and open to all employees of companies participating in the Bottom Lines program.

We are now accepting proposals for the 2022 Pro Tour Series, which will run from March-December. Submissions will be reviewed by an Advisory Committee comprised of NESEA Members.

Current NESEA Members can vote for the professionals who represent them on the Board of Directors. This year, 9 NESEA Members are running for 4 open seats on the board.

NESEA is pleased to be partnering with AORTA, the Anti-Oppression Resource & Training Alliance, to offer members of our community access to this post-conference event, designed to give you the tools to start committing your business to becoming an anti-racist organization.

Within NESEA’s territory, there is a small army of talented youth from under-served communities who would flourish in the sorts of careers that businesses in our community can offer. At the same time, there are scores of businesses hoping to recruit new and diverse employees to fill the labor shortage gap. This community event will be a first big step towards bringing those groups together.
