What CEUs are available at BuildingEnergy Boston 2020?
- All conference sessions on Thursday and Friday offer AIA credits.
- To earn credits from AICP, BPI, GBCI-LEED, and PHI, select specific sessions approved by those organizations. See details below.
- MA CSL, PHIUS and RESNET offer credits for attending one day or both days of the conference. See details below.
Please note: You must be logged in for each session you wish to receive credit for during the event. CEUs are not available for watching session recordings post-event.
Certificates of Attendance
If you attend at least one session at BuildingEnergy Boston 2020, you will receive a detailed certificate of attendance via email in October. You can use that certificate to self-report your hours to your professional organizations.
AIA
All conference sessions on Thursday and Friday offer AIA learning units; the majority are approved for LU/HSW. You will receive 1 credit for each 1-hour session and 1.5 credits for each 1.5-hour session you attend. NESEA will report credits on your behalf.
In cooperation with APA-MA, we offer AICP credits for 10 sessions. APA members can earn up to 7.5 CM credits for attending AICP-approved sessions (up to 3 credits on Thursday and up to 4.5 credits on Friday). BPI
18 sessions offer credits from the Building Performance Institute (BPI). You can use this clickable PDF to view all BPI-accredited sessions. You will receive 1 credit for each 1-hour session and 1.5 credits for each 1.5-hour session you attend. NESEA will report credits on your behalf.
GBCI
15 sessions offer GBCI credits for LEED certifications (BD+C, ID+C, O+M & WELL). You can use this clickable PDF to view all GBCI-accredited sessions. NESEA will report credits on your behalf.
MA CSL
This year's conference has been approved for up to 9 credit-hours for Mass. Construction Supervisor License certification, 4.5 CEUs for attending Thursday and 4.5 CEUs for attending Friday. NESEA will report credits on your behalf, and you will use your Certificate of Attendance in your license renewal portfolio. Note that for each day you claim credit, you must sign in and attend at least 4.5 hours of sessions.
Passive House Institute
Attendees can earn up to 2.0 PHI credit-hours on Aug. 13 and 1.0 hour on Aug. 14 for attending PHI-approved sessions. You will self-report your credits. 4 sessions have been approved for PHI credits:

PHIUS CPHC
This year's conference has been approved for up to 9 PHIUS CPHC credits, 4.5 CEUs for attending Thursday and 4.5 CEUs for attending Friday. You may self-report on PHIUS' website to receive credits. Your certificate of completion will include the codes you'll need to report which day(s) you attended.
RESNET
BuildingEnergy Boston 2020 has been designated a regional RESNET conference. RESNET raters, QADs, and instructors will automatically receive 4.5 credit hours for attending Thursday, Aug. 13; 4.5 hours for attending Friday, Aug. 14; and 9 hours for attending the full conference. You will self-report your credits.
