Neil Donnelly is a Senior Energy Engineer at New Ecology, providing data-focused technical expertise centered on existing affordable multi-family housing. His experience monitoring and optimizing existing hydronic heating and DHW systems has translated into using the data to now inform an efficient electrification effort. In addition to optimization of existing systems, Neil leads New Ecology’s Applied Research and Development team, using system monitoring to inform the continuous commissioning of new-to-market technologies and novel system configurations to support their rapid expansion in support of decarbonization efforts. He earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and is a licensed professional engineer in Massachusetts.
