Jean-Marie Bergeal started his career at IBM in sales, where he was quickly promoted to manage a portfolio of Fortune 500 relationships and its P&L responsibilities. After eight years of increasing responsibilities, he joined the banking sector in Capital Markets, developing relationships and structuring transactions totaling in excess of $5 billion. Jean-Marie subsequently turned his focus on emerging technology companies. He advised a number of European companies looking to come to the US. In 2014, he joined Balyo, a French robotics company, to launch its North American business. He successfully led and concluded a strategic partnership with the #1 US material handling player.
Jean-Marie joined MeteoViva early 2016 to lead its development in North America. He is also a mentor at the German Accelerator in New York City. Jean-Marie graduated from Ecole des Mines in France, and holds a Master of Science from Yale University as well as an MBA from New York University.
