Krysia Wazny is Acadia Center’s Communications Director and Coordinator of the Public Engagement Initiative, working from the Boston office. Krysia manages the production and promotion of Acadia Center’s public-facing materials and coordinates with the staff to develop strategies for increasing engagement with target audiences. She oversees the organization’s social media, press outreach, blog, and website. Krysia comes to Acadia Center with a background in communications, research, and climate activism. She most recently served as Communications Associate at Catholic Theological Union, where she managed advertising and print production and assisted in all areas of institutional marketing. Krysia is also a member of the steering committee for Boston College Alumni for Climate Justice. She holds a BA in Slavic Studies from Boston College and an MA in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago.
