Todd DiNoia is the Director of CertainTeed Research and Development (R&D) Platforms at the Saint-Gobain Northboro Research and Development Center (NRDC) in Northboro, MA. Saint-Gobain is world leader in habitat and construction markets; and designs, manufactures and distributes building materials to meet the global challenges of growth, energy and the environment. Todd oversees R&D for construction products and building materials including exterior roofing and siding products, insulation systems, interior ceilings, wallboards, and finishing systems, as well as specialty materials. Todd also manages R&D activities involving Building Science, which includes thermal, moisture, indoor air-quality, and acoustical performance and comfort. Todd joined Saint-Gobain in 2010, and has more than 18 years of R&D experience in construction products with a focus on sustainability, advanced material platforms, and building construction with direct experience in the field as general contractor (a previous family business). Prior to joining Saint-Gobain, he was a Director of R&D at Grace Construction Products.
Todd has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, with a focus on polymer material science and processing. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.
Todd supports Habitat for Humanity and YouthBuild USA in the Worcester area.
