Charlie is a seasoned operations executive with over 20+ years’ experience in managing diverse teams. Skilled in targeting and successfully developing key business markets, building channels to market, establishing and maintaining channel partner networks, defining program and product goals and working in a global environment. He is able to cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, staff, and executives. With a solid and diverse technical background, he has provided leadership to Housing Vermont (HVT) and their newly formed Energy Services Division. Charged with fostering the development of the Parsons Platform, he has furthered the deployment and advancement of HVT's Data Acquisition and Building Analytics software program throughout their portfolio.
Prior to his tenure at Housing Vermont, Charlie held several positions in the renewable industry, including leadership positions with a battery energy storage integrator, a utility solar monitoring company, community scale (100 kW) wind turbine manufacturer, and an off-grid power systems integrator. Charlie’s energy experience ranges from the development of mission critical data centers, micro-grids, offshore oil & gas platforms, oil pipelines in Georgia and Papua New Guinea, to wind diesel installations in western Alaska. Charlie has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in land use planning from Northern Vermont University in Johnson, VT and is working towards an advanced degree in Management and Finance from The School of Extension at Harvard University in Cambridge MA.
