Peter has more than 30 years of professional design experience and has participated in the planning and design of numerous complex urban-development projects within residential, retail, corporate, academic, and science and technology communities. Known for successfully managing complex programs in urban settings with strong architectural context, Peter’s experience encompasses innovation districts, mixed-use projects, and the adaptive re-use of historic structures. Peter has been instrumental in incorporating iterative energy modeling and parametric analysis into the design process at Elkus Manfredi Architects, and his implementation of sustainability, energy efficiency, and resiliency strategies has resulted in award-winning, high-performing buildings. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a post-graduate sculpture training program at Emerson College in East Sussex, England.
