Frank Mruk FAIA, RIBA, CSI, LEED AP is an architect/technology strategist. He is a founder/Executive Director of the NY Center for Strategic Innovation and the Boston Center for Smart Building Technology and is a Senior Director of Building Innovations at NRMCA. He previously worked in corporate real estate on Wall St. as Vice President of Strategy at Morgan Stanley and earlier at the American International Group. Frank later led Aga Khan winning Architect, Emre Arolat’s NYC office. He taught archutecture at the School of Visual Arts, Parsons School of Design, Roger Williams University, the Rhode Island School of Design, New York University and at the New York Institute of Technology where he also served as the Associate Dean of NYIT's School of Architecture and Design. There he focused on resiliency, sustainability and building decarbonization and was involded in two successful solar decathlon efforts. Frank was educated at Pratt Institute, Pace University and at the University of Oxford. He is a fellow of the Strategic Planing Society in the UK and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and a Morse Stone AIA Rhode Island Fellow. He has also previously served as President of Metro NY CSI, Metro NY ASP and of AIA Rhode Island.
