Floris is CEO of 475 High Performance building supply, and specialized in airtightness, hygrothermal analysis, ventilation and daylighting of high performance envelopes. He has Master degrees in both Architectural Engineering and Real Estate development from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. He built the Lucy House at the Rural Studio, worked at Common Ground Community, and on Mayor Bloomberg’s PlaNYC Green Code Task Force and been on multiple NYC Building code committee. Floris is a WUFI-ORNL instructor, certified several Passive House projects and a committed bicycle commuter and advocate. Floris has been an adjunct professor at The City College of New York and has been a guest critic at Yale, the New School, Pratt Institute and Columbia University.
