Ken provides building performance consulting to building owners, designers, developers and builders looking to break out of the performance limitations of standard practice. Ken also leads building enclosure commissioning for new construction and rehabilitation projects, develops technical training materials, and conducts existing facility assessments relative to energy and moisture performance.His expertise derives from a thorough understanding of thermal and ventilation performance in buildings and includes pressure diagnostics, plans analysis, energy modeling, in-field inspections and instrumented testing. Ken’s work advances a broad conception of high performance in buildings.
Ken regularly presents at industry conferences and has authored several peer-reviewed papers for the Building America program.
Ken holds Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Architecture degrees from the University of Michigan, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Boston College.
