Building a Resilient and Greener Boston: Highlighting Synergies in Green Building Rating Systems

In an era where environmental challenges and climate change are gaining increased prominence, the significance of building sustainability has never been more profound. High-performing green buildings provide the means to reduce the climate impacts of buildings and their inhabitants. Embracing sustainable building practices is imperative to mitigate these challenges. As historic droughts, increasingly frequent wildfires and more violent storms make it abundantly clear that there is a need for greater action. Over the past 25+ years the emergence of rating systems like LEED NC, LEED ND, LEED for Homes, WELL, PHI, PHIUS, Fitwel, Smart Score, TRUE, Wired Score and other tools have helped us define and drive the green building industry forward. This session will bring together leaders across 3 different building types to detail how they’ve embraced multiple rating systems. Together, the session will give green building practitioners tools and strategies to take action on an unprecedented scale.
