This workshop will explore the process of setting goals for commercial buildings and employing metrics in support of those goals. We will learn how to pick appropriate metrics during the design process, implement design strategies to enable achievement of the metrics, and ensure the construction is successful. Through examples, we will look at tracking energy use in the completed building to know if a project is meeting its targets, and if not, why.
