NTI - independent green certification

We built two prototype "Off The Grid" Tiny houses (399 square foot) homes. The home product is self sufficient to be placed in multiple climates to operate. The idea is to deliver to sites for several types of usage: Disasters, Elderly care for family members (Backyard housing) Homelessness shelters, and other type of housing solutions. The goal is for the developer/managment of a community to have NO utility common operating costs as well as the tenant. It has state of the art insulations and a very tight building envelope to insure practically Zero. We did not solve the water generation issue. Many appliances are very efficient and reuire little fuel or electricity. We incorporate the ECOJOHN to eliminate human waste disposal issues. The units indivdually have Lithium and Lead Acid as its energy storage and are incorporated into the home. We used propane for cooking, a tankless water heater and propose its usage for a backup electrical generation for cloudy days. The first unit was constructed (2011) has been sold to a homeowner; the other (2014) is used today as a Demonstration sale touring model to expose visitors at events to the advantages of factory built housing, proven performance and its real live "Off The Grid" living experience. An experience not available to most people. These homes are classed as an RV however are built beyond current energy efficient building codes to achieve "Off The Grid" living opportunities in multiple climates and developments.
