Jonah DeCola is Project Manager at New Ecology. His original design for a renewable energy storage-smart grid system was featured in FAST Co, magazine and he is a professor in the SunShot Initiative, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) funded Solar Training at Roxbury Community College. Jonah has designed curriculum for The Employment and Training Administration (ETA), U.S. Department of Labor, YouthBuild USA, and the Asian American Civic Association (AACA) in energy efficiency and building science. In collaboration with the AACA and Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD), DeCola created the Energy Efficiency Technician Apprenticeship Program (EETAP) and Building Energy Efficient Maintenance Skills (BEEMS) programs. After joining New Ecology’s team in 2012, Jonah has been managing construction projects and designing building automation systems for its clients. He is a licensed plumber, gas fitter, and has an unrestricted-CSL. He is a certified Journeyman carpenter, BPI Building Analyst /Proctor and trainer.
