Haym Gross, Architect, has over 25 years of experience providing professional services to realize complex, diverse projects of varied scale. Haym was project designer for the Port Liberte Townhouses on the Jersey City waterfront and has undertaken civic efforts such as the Riverside Park South Conceptual Plan. Sustainability has long been at the center of Haym’s work. He has worked on a modernist passive solar house in Bedford, NY and has completed many residential and multi-family Solar PV and thermal installations in NYC. Haym is engaged in assignments to integrate sustainable and resilient systems and design features into a range of environments.
In 2014 Haym initiated the NYC 2030 District committee, a volunteer group of over 30 professionals, service providers and advocates established to develop a sustainability district in NYC with the objective to radically reduce carbon emissions and fossil fuel consumption by the year 2030. The Emerging NYC 2030 District is structured as a Private / Public partnership of property owners, service firms, professionals, civic organizations and community stakeholders committed to improvements in building energy performance and expansion of renewable energy generation.
