I am a nationally licensed Master Acupuncturist and Educator, practicing in Shelburne, Vermont.
I have practiced five-element acupuncture for 25 years. Western medicine uses science to understand and maintain health. Chinese medicine employs a holistic system of thinking based on the principles of the five elements – or natures - to achieve the same ends. They are also a powerful means of identifying how we engage interpersonal dynamics in business and leadership.
I have also been a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism, for over 20 years, studying the science of mind and the interplay of thought, emotion, and reality. Throughout my career, I have taught and mentored acupuncture students, including teaching Chinese medicine at the undergraduate level. I am in the process of writing a book on the five elements as a means of mapping emotional intelligence.
