Mr. Brod joined New Ecology in September 2014. Prior to New Ecology, he was an EDF Climate Corps Fellow at the Boston Housing Authority, where he analyzed utility and work order savings in two housing developments that were recently renovated using green design principles. He has also worked for EnerNOC, Inc., and for Environmental Law & Policy Center, a non-profit based in Chicago. Mr. Brod is a graduate of the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies (F&ES), where he concentrated in Energy and the Environment. During school, he and colleagues developed a proposal to improve municipal energy management for the DOE’s Better Buildings Case Competition, winning the “Best Proposal” award for its category. He also organized the expansion of the F&ES curriculum to include two new courses on green buildings and the changing electric utility industry.
